First ever Folk Festival in Khairpur organizing by Thespianz Foundation that is receiving a number of International artists including pride of performance artists famous folk instruments experts, well-known folk singers, cultural dancers and many more unique artists gathering at one place for celebrating peace and diversity while accepting each other showcasing their talent in front of thousands of audience at Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai University (SALU).

Total Number of beneficiaries: 42026 (Male 15974, Female 13446, Kids 8405, Elders 4201)

Meet festival artists

Wahid Alan Faqeer is a folk artist who continue the legacy of famous Pakistani Sindhi Folk Performer/Artist Alan Faqeer. He performs Sufi kalaam with absolute passion while donning a colorful ethnic outfit. Wahid Allan Faqir performs on the famous one string instrument popularly known as Kingh. — Wahid Allan Faqeer

Jamshed Sabri and Naveed Sabri Qawal are the famous name of Pakistani Qawali. The sons of Ustad Warsi Qawal. The Family has the 50 years of Qawali history and a proponent of the Sufi Muslim tradition.They recently performed the famous Qawali Track in Coke Studio Tajdar-e-Haram by Atif Aslam. — Jamshed Sabri & Naveed Sabri

The Artificial Horse Dances performances group is coming from Multan – Punjab. The Punjab has a history to perform culturally rich artificial wooden animal dances such as Ghoogho horse, camel. There will be 24 artists for this performance. — Ghora (horse) Dance group from Multan
