Thespianz Theatre Staged its very new Minglish (English Urdu mix) theatre play “Marriage Carriage”. Written by “Faraz Zubair” directed by “Faisal Malik” and associate director was “Nouman Mehmood”. The play revolves around an educated family comprising of a father and his daughter. The fathesr faces an unexpected situation as one of his good neighbors whom he has known for year’s turns in one day to ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Things take unexpected turns when these decade old neighbors fall over petty issues and start accusing each other. Set in a typical modern day setup, the play is enlightened with modern jingles and songs and makes the best out of these unexpected situations.

The fun does not end here as after a haughty exit of the neighbor, some other acquaintances make it to the doorstep with the same proposal. As the quest for the best man to be chosen moves to a condition where the best man would be chosen on the basis of best English this leads to humorous situations. The play ends on a high note and keeps you glued and entertained all the way.

Play end was humorous and enjoyable for a houseful general audience along with prominent TV and Media personalities such as Pakistani well-known actress “Azra Mansoor”. Thespianz Theatre announced its ten year completion celebration through this lingo based theatre play which aim was to convey the message of “Importance of English” among those people who speak abrupt English but doesn’t feel the need to learn this language.
